Mid-Century Modern Color Palette
When I think of Mid-Century interior design I often think of a vibrant color palette with colors ranging from the kitschy brights of the 1950s to the sophisticated and earthy colors of the early 1960s - everything from pink appliances to the leather of Eames chairs. The decorating look is also uncluttered and simplistic and this color palette is often used as a starting point of favorite colors of that era:
Having lived most of my adult life in a French/Belgian style home decorated with neutrals, it was loads of fun choosing citron green for our front door and peacock blue bedspreads!
